Prestige Flowers - Unboxing!

Beautiful gifts from Prestige Flowers

I was lucky enough to be the recipient of a luxury box of chocolates, flowers and a teddy from Michael at Prestige Flowers, who was friendly, helpful and efficient.

The dispatch to my home (in the deepest, darkest south!) from West Yorkshire was only two days, impressive considering we were battling extreme weather conditions courtesy of Storm Emma and 'The Beast from The East!'. In fact, the fast delivery put other services to shame.

On unboxing the flowers, I noticed a beautiful aroma coming from them, the bouquet itself coming from a mix of fresh eucalyptus, roses, lilies and daisies. I was even more pleasantly surprised to find a vase AND a gift bag. They certainly look beautiful on my dressing table (pictured below).

Included in the package was a sleek box of British crafted 'Valley Chocolates', consisting of various flavours such as Lemon Truffle, Sweet Mandarin and Mango Fancy. Now, I am quite fussy about chocolate, especially unfamiliar brands, so approached this with caution! However, I can honestly say I was impressed, lovely tasting and melt in the mouth, in fact I think I prefer them to my usual brand.

Finally, there was a cuddly teddy called Charlie (with a little note) that my toddler liked so much she stole him on two separate occasions (don't think mummy didn't notice!).

Prestige Flowers have literally thought about EVERYTHING, you don't have to think about the gift box or the vase, it's all there beautifully presented, all you've got to do is visit their website, click and order! https://www.prestigeflowers.co.uk/mothers-day-flowers

I never review any products or companies that do not have a good reputation and high quality products, I can certainly say that Prestige Flowers have not failed to deliver (excuse the pun!) So if you are stuck for something to get your dearest mum or partner for Mother's Day, do click on the link above. I have no quibbles whatsoever about their products and would like to say a big well done! Just be quick, you've less than a week to get something and you don't want your nearest and dearest not speaking to you for a day!

You can see the unboxing of these on my channel Clara Sais. Thank you for reading this review, if you have any questions about the products please do not hesitate to say hi and comment below!

Lily Flame Candles

I am an avid candle fan but admittedly tend to stick to Yankee Candle ones. However, a recent trip to Waitrose compelled me to try the Lily-Flame range. I had seen one for Halloween last year but wasn't taken with the smell, but found Fairy Dust. Such a lovely light smell and handmade in Somerset! After buying this one, I found the amazing Parma Violets in another shop and it smelt wonderful! These are reasonably priced at around £8 and seem to last for a long time. I also like the reeds, but they are slightly out of my price range at around £19.99. If this range seems appealing to you, click here to go to their website!

Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss in Touch

I love lllamasqua products, unfortunately they are no shops near me and the make-up is a little above my budget, but I was tempted by the new Intense Lipgloss in Touch as part of the new 'I'm The One' collection (a Valentine theme).
It sure is a beautiful colour (see my swatch below), very strong tone and with gloss. The texture is quite sticky and the colour only stays on for a short while, as you would probably expect. Not one for windy days out (unless you like your hair sticking to your lips) or a date unfortunately (probably a bit scary for smoochies, stick to the Lollitint stain for that which I reviewed in my previous post!). Also, take your time over application to avoid smudges.

The lip gloss currently retails at £14.50 with free postage from here

Benefit's Lollitint Cheek and Lipstain

So I received Benefit's new Lollitint Cheek and Lipstain today, rather pricey for £25 but you get a fairly big bottle and as I am student and bought it from asos with free delivery it was slightly cheaper than getting it from another site. I am a huge fan of Benefit and their lipstains and already have Cha Cha Tint (orange tone, in a small sample box, a freebie from a magazine, much prefer this size for trying), Posietint (pink) and the original colour, Benetint (Red). Personally, I found Benetint dried rather patchy on my lips so was a bit wary of trying the new tints, but the latter tints seem to have a smoother application and creamier formula.
As for the Lollitint, the same nice creamier application and staying power, the colour itself was a bit scary when I first looked at, but it's not so bad on. It's definitely a cooler, blue tone pink, verging on pinky purple, so only a couple of applications are required if you don't want a too heavy and vibrant colour. I must admit, I have still got to make up my mind about this one, I may even prefer the lighter and brighter tones of Posietint and Cha Cha Tint. But it's ok for now, especially for darker and cooler seasons.

Application and tone after 3 applications with brush
